GENERAL STUDBOK. Copywrite.
The All Russian Scientific Research Institute of Horse Breeding (VNIIK) owns the
copywrite for THE GENERAL STUDBOOK of pureblood Akhal-Teke horses,
THE STUDBOOK of half- and part-bred Akhal-Teke horses,
THE REGISTER OF YOUNG STOCK, also on VNIIK's analytical information on the breed
and other scientific literature. The copywrite is protected by the
INTERNATIONAL COPYRIGHT AGREEMENT.
Any reprinting of information contained in the StudBooks and the Register of Young Stock
must have the permission of VNIIK. Reference to VNIIK is obligatory when quoting their
materials.
It is essential to refer to the source when reproducing material published by VNIIK in
printed or electronic form. When using photographic material belonging to VNIIK, the
source must be quoted.
Any printed or electronic version of the database containing information on the StudBook,
the Register of Young Stock and other literature issued by VNIIK can be used only for
private purposes.
As of today, the General Studbook and the Register of Young Stock have
no official electronic version. VNIIK and MAAK bear NO responsibility for information
contained in individual databases.
